Creative Work

Creative Case Studies

One Day Agency developed creative for Cineworld to strengthen brand presence and build more consistent engagement beyond blockbuster release windows.

The creative challenge was volume and change: a constantly moving release schedule, a high number of variants and the need to stay consistent across channels. We built an always-on modular system that evolves with the film calendar, allowing individual film slates and monthly What's On content to be updated quickly. It flexes across new releases, seasonal work, film categories such as Be More Childish and Event Cinema, and premium formats, while supporting the breadth of variants Meta requires. We developed two asset groups, film slate creative promoting releases and brand awareness assets working at different funnel stages.

Messaging is USP-led and loyalty-driven to build mental availability, and we refresh creative regularly using performance data and audience insights to reduce ad fatigue.

Campaigns for Raventós Codorníu

One Day Agency produced ad creative for Raventos Codorniu, the Cava house founded in 1551, to support campaigns building UK awareness and supermarket sales.

The brand was advertising in the UK for the first time, so the creative had to establish recognition fast and work across very different environments, from a full bus wrap to a supermarket screen to ITV VOD. We designed and produced a full bus wrap as the campaign's high-impact opener, then had it photographed next to London icons including Big Ben in a one-day shoot, giving the client PR assets and something to share internally. Formats were adapted for London Underground panels, roadside large formats, bus stops, supermarket screens, YouTube and display while holding one consistent message.

Their International Brand Manager for Europe and Asia described results "clearly related to the MKT campaigns", with the brand growing while the Cava category fell 5.6%.

One Day Agency developed a full creative system for Dip & Doze, the premium sustainable bedding brand, to replace a spike and fade demand pattern with consistent always-on visibility.

The challenge was turning a product promise of luxurious comfort with a sustainable ethos into a visual language that worked across both storytelling and performance placements. We built around four audience mindsets, eco-conscious shoppers, design-led home upgraders, high earning professionals and gift buyers, and tailored messaging to each. Hand-drawn accents and paper-inspired textures softened the existing typography, while AI extended the product photography into richer editorial settings without extra production time or spend.

The campaign delivered a 29% increase in sales and 14% revenue growth, a £3.62 ROAS in the bedding category and a £169 average order value among the core 35 to 44 audience.

Creative Direction for Forlax

One Day Agency led the creative for Forlax by Mayoly, a market-leading pharmaceutical brand, to build awareness and support in-store pharmacy sales across Poland.

Two constraints shaped the work: strict Polish pharmaceutical advertising regulations and very few existing assets beyond product imagery. We used metaphor-led storytelling to make a sensitive health topic approachable, and AI video production to generate feed-native scenes we could not have shot. A modular framework let us segment tightly, with Forlax Adults tailored to women across different life stages and Forlax Kids to parents of children in four distinct age bands, delivered across YouTube, Meta, Allegro, GDN and Spotify.

The campaign reached 7.3 million people across Poland, generated 129.9 million impressions and 202,000 clicks at a 2.37% CTR, improved PPC efficiency by 13% and held CPC at PLN 0.83.

One Day Agency created a generative AI campaign for the Polish Tourism Organisation, Poland's national tourism board, promoting Warsaw and Gdansk as urban destinations to UK audiences.

AI accelerated the creative process but brought a real constraint with it: city images generated in MidJourney were not factually accurate, placing landmarks and street layouts wrongly, and we were not willing to mislead travellers. We solved it by moving away from depicting the cities at all and building hyper-realistic dioramas from everyday travel objects instead. A summer hat introduced Warsaw's urban beach, a highball glass stood in for Gdansk nightlife, a map invited exploration and a sandal signalled discovery.

The approach let the campaign tell emotive destination stories and spark imagination without making a single inaccurate claim about either city, while keeping the speed advantage AI production brought.

One Day Agency built the creative for Zesty Paws to launch a new cat diffuser alongside existing dog calming chews, timed to the September to December window when pet anxiety peaks.

Bonfire Night, New Year and increased travel make owners acutely worried about their pets, so we led on emotion rather than product features. Out-of-home creative used AI-generated imagery for immediate impact, placing pets centrally with cloud-like forms for calm and subtle fireworks in the background for seasonal context. The YouTube films opened on a recognisable scene of pet distress with firework sound effects, then shifted visibly to calm once the product was introduced.

The video delivered 1.62 million impressions and 18,427 link clicks, while out-of-home across 48-sheets and digital 6-sheets delivered an estimated 3.47 million impressions plus 7,308 additional plays through overshow.

One Day Agency delivered a single creative campaign for Feather Down Farms, the off-grid farm stay brand, running across billboards, buses, digital screens and TV.

Each format needed a different treatment of the same story. On 96-sheets we used multiple images to show the breadth of the experience, from rustic charm to family adventure, balanced against minimal text and an eye-level logo. Bus rears demanded the opposite, so we sectioned the design for quick reading by drivers and pedestrians. Digital 6-sheets had six seconds, so the motion assets hook attention inside the first 1.5 seconds. The VOD commercial carried a limited-time promotion through emotive storytelling, built to meet broadcast guidelines on portraying children and rural life.

The result was consistency: whether seen on a country road, a city bus, a digital screen or a TV at home, viewers got the same story of simplicity and escape.

One Day Agency designed a flexible creative system for Lakeland Arts, the arts and heritage charity, to grow visitor numbers across Abbot Hall, Blackwell and Windermere Jetty Museum.

The approach shifted over the partnership from promoting the venues to promoting concrete reasons to visit. We introduced a 1-1-1 framework showing one event, one tour and one workshop across the three sites, which moved the message from place to experience. The visual device took its cue from tickets and admissions, using flat colour blocks edged with a perforation line to frame each offer, so assets stayed recognisable per location while still reading as one brand.

Carousel slides were built to connect when swiped, turning all three locations into one story for remarketing audiences, and activity was weighted to the April to September peak before moving to winter exhibitions to offset seasonal decline.

One Day Agency handled the end-to-end creative for Valla, the legal support platform, built on the insight that many people feel uneasy at work without being able to name why.

The core line, "Work shouldn't feel like this", ran across every channel. The design system borrowed from workplace messaging interfaces, layering real-seeming push notifications such as "You're overreacting" and "Nobody else has complained" in deliberate disarray to mirror that disorientation. For YouTube we scored the films with heartbeat-like sounds resolving into calmer tones as Valla appears, taking viewers from chaos to clarity.

Out-of-home across Manchester delivered 15.2 million impressions, YouTube produced 403,611 full video views from 568,000 impressions, and remarketing content hit a 10.17% engagement rate. Valla's Chief Marketing Officer called seeing the work live at Piccadilly Station "a real highlight.”

One Day Agency created the campaign that introduced Airportr, a service collecting luggage from travellers' homes and checking it in with their airline, to a wider audience.

The difficulty was not the proposition but its unfamiliarity. Audiences had to understand the service quickly and trust it with their bags, so we framed it around a human shift rather than logistics: the journey feels lighter the moment you are not managing luggage. The platform line, "Airportr. The lighter way to fly", opened on recognisable travel stress before showing how the service works and the relief that follows. We targeted solo and couple travellers alongside economy families, who share the same pain point, and led on YouTube for the scale a new category needs.

Video completion rates exceeded 60% and held consistent across both audiences, and brand visibility and search interest both grew.

One Day Agency extended the creative framework proven at Cineworld to Cinema City, part of the same group, adapting it to a distinct brand identity and the Polish market.

The constraint was asset volume: Cinema City supplied far less original material than the scale required. We used generative AI to close that gap, removing Cineworld branding from statics and replacing it with Cinema City equivalents, swapping objects in video, and animating supplied stills into realistic moving scenes, taking particular care with footage featuring people so nothing looked synthetic. Cineworld's light leak effects were reworked into Cinema City's orange bokeh style and all messaging was translated into Polish.

Year on year, the work drove a 6.2% increase in total website sessions, a 5.2% rise in revenue, a 13.3% uplift in key events, and gains of 551% in paid search revenue and 71% in paid social revenue.
