One Day Agency

Environmental, Social and Governance.

ESG

At One Day Agency, legal name 1D Agency Ltd, we are committed to strong Environmental, Social and Governance principles. Our ESG approach is embedded in our culture and day to day operations. We believe our business has a responsibility to make a positive contribution to society and the environment by managing our activities thoughtfully and by working with responsible organisations that share these values.

We have dedicated internal action groups responsible for ensuring ESG principles are actively reflected in how we operate, make decisions and work with clients.

Environment

One Day Agency is committed to minimising our environmental impact and acting responsibly towards the world around us.

Our building actively works to reduce carbon emissions and currently holds an Energy Performance Certificate rating of C.

Staff are encouraged to walk, cycle or share lifts where possible.

We work with corporate travel partners to measure and manage environmental impact and have significantly reduced carbon emissions through the increased use of video conferencing.

Our Environmental Policy promotes switching off all equipment at the end of the day rather than leaving devices on standby to reduce energy consumption.

Our offices use energy efficient lighting wherever possible, and equipment is set to energy saving modes where available.

Our internal climate action group continually explores and implements ways to further reduce our environmental footprint.

Reducing waste

We actively seek to reduce waste across the business.

Our offices provide a wide range of recycling facilities including glass, paper, cardboard, plastics, cans and batteries.

We have significantly reduced paper usage by moving to digital storage and workflows wherever possible.

Printing is actively discouraged unless absolutely necessary.

We only work with licensed and approved waste disposal providers.

We have increased the recycling of printer cartridges and consumables.

A way of life

Environmentally responsible practices are embedded into how we work through regular staff training on our Environmental Policy and by integrating sustainability considerations into business decisions.

One Day Agency sets measurable targets to reduce key environmental impacts and aims to minimise the environmental footprint associated with the advertising and communications campaigns we deliver for clients.

Social

One Day Agency places people at the centre of everything we do. Our team is our greatest asset and every individual matters.

We are committed to creating a safe, supportive and sustainable working environment where people can thrive. Our goal is to make a positive impact not only through our work, but also through the wellbeing and development of our team.

Diversity and inclusivity

We actively embrace diversity and do not discriminate against applicants or employees on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, disability or any other protected characteristic.

We are committed to increasing access to the industry by supporting economically disadvantaged communities. This includes delivering industry focused talks in schools and colleges and offering student internships to help create opportunities where they are often limited.

Expected standards of behaviour are clearly set out in our company handbook and we operate a zero tolerance approach to discrimination. Regular Equality, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training is provided to all staff.

Training and development

We provide structured training and development opportunities through the One Day Academy, our formal professional development programme. This includes a calendar of internal and external training covering both strategic and practical skills.

External training is delivered by recognised professional bodies and is aligned with each team member’s individual development goals.

Clear and measurable progression criteria outline the actions, behaviours and evidence required to advance within the business. Every employee has a personal development plan, reviewed monthly and formally assessed twice a year.

We also run a coaching programme designed to understand how each individual works best, allowing us to adapt support accordingly. Open communication is encouraged and employees are invited to share ideas and feedback with senior leadership on a regular basis. Everyone at One Day Agency has a voice.

Wellbeing

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful and supportive workplace, free from harassment or offensive behaviour. Employee wellbeing is a core priority.

We partner with a leading Employee Assistance Programme provider, offering 24 hour access to qualified UK based therapists via an online platform. Employees can access confidential counselling and support tailored to their needs, with full anonymity.

We also provide access to a wellbeing and coaching platform that offers monthly one to one coaching and training sessions. This supports both professional and personal challenges, recognising that wellbeing extends beyond the workplace. Regular stress check ins help us identify and respond to periods of increased pressure.

In addition, we invest in formal mental health training, including Mental Health First Aid and ongoing leadership training for managers.

Health and safety

The health and safety of our team is taken seriously and remains a priority. We have trained fire marshals and first aiders, including mental health first aiders.

Regular health and safety training is delivered, including manual handling and workstation assessments supported by posture and ergonomics specialists.

Human rights

One Day Agency upholds the principles of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labour Organisation’s core labour standards.

We support the rights of our people and their families, including the right to fair working conditions, freedom of expression, freedom of association, collective bargaining, and freedom from forced or child labour.

Corporate social responsibility

We actively support local communities and charitable organisations through fundraising, donations and pro bono work.

All employees are offered two fully paid volunteering days each year to support causes they care about.

Recent initiatives have included local litter picking, maintenance support for children’s charities, sponsored walks and runs, community coffee mornings, clothes swaps and sports based fundraising challenges.

Our chosen charity partner for 2026 is CALM. Standing together, united against suicide.

Governance

We are committed to conducting our business in a fair, honest and transparent manner, fully complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

Policies covering fraud, bribery and whistleblowing are clearly documented within our employee handbook and internal systems. Regular training is provided and compliance is actively monitored.

We do not offer, accept or tolerate bribes or inducements of any kind, and we act with integrity in all business relationships.

Marketing ethics

We are committed to responsible and ethical marketing practices. This includes:

Complying with all applicable regulations and self regulatory codes in the markets in which we operate.

Not knowingly creating work that could be considered offensive to public decency, and carefully considering the potential impact of our work on minority groups across race, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age or disability.

Not undertaking work intended to mislead in any way, including in relation to social, environmental or human rights issues.
