Video Advertising Case Studies
One Day Agency delivered video advertising for Airportr, the service that collects travellers' luggage from home and checks it in with their airline, to introduce the proposition to a wider audience.
Video advertising led the plan because Airportr was creating a new category and the concept was unfamiliar, so audiences needed to understand the service quickly and trust it. YouTube gave us the scale and attention to explain it properly, with Search layered alongside to capture rising interest as awareness built. We built the creative around a human insight, that the journey feels lighter the moment you stop managing your bags, contrasting familiar travel stress with the relief of moving freely. We produced the work in house using AI video production, motion graphics and copywriting, under the platform "Airportr. The lighter way to fly."
We created variations for two audiences, adults travelling alone or as couples who value efficiency, and economy families managing multiple suitcases, with versions in English and German.

One Day Agency used YouTube advertising for Thames Water, working with Copper Consultancy, to raise public awareness of a proposed new reservoir in the South East and encourage Oxfordshire residents to have their say.
A public consultation needs more than awareness, it needs participation, so we used YouTube advertising to carry an explanatory message to a broad local audience including residents, commuters, businesses, workers and younger people. YouTube gave us video reach across the region and let us target Oxfordshire tightly, which matters when the message is only relevant to people living near the proposed site. We ran it alongside TikTok and Spotify digital audio, rail 4 and 6-sheets and rail digital 6-sheets in Oxford station environments, and local press through the Herald Oxfordshire and Oxford Mail including print and e-newsletter placements.
Combining social video with trusted local news environments kept the consultation visible across commuter journeys, community information spaces and listening moments.

One Day Agency produced the video advertising for Valla, the legal support platform, built on the insight that many people feel uneasy at work without knowing why.
Video was where the emotional argument could actually develop. We made 10-second non-skippable and 30-second skippable YouTube ads, and used sound design to carry the narrative: stressful heartbeat-like tones that resolve into calm as the viewer discovers Valla, taking them from chaos to clarity in a way a static poster cannot. The supporting line for video, "When work feels wrong, find out why", was sharpened into a call to action rather than the OOH core line.
YouTube delivered 568,000 impressions and 403,611 full video views, meaning viewers did not just see the ads, they stayed with them. Valla's Chief Marketing Officer said the team "clearly put a lot of thought into making it effective.”

YouTube Ads for Zesty Paws
One Day Agency created the video advertising for Zesty Paws to launch a cat diffuser alongside existing dog calming chews, through the September to December pet anxiety peak.
Each film had to earn attention in its opening second, so we opened on brand identification and a seasonal hook together: fireworks plus a recognisable scene of pet distress, reinforced with pet sounds and firework effects for immediate emotional impact. The narrative then introduced the product and its credentials, with visual contrast shifting from unsettled scenes to calm outcomes, before closing on a direct call to action naming where to buy. One framework covered both cat and dog products, which kept production efficient.
Delivered as non-skippable up to 15 seconds and skippable up to 30, the YouTube activity produced 1.62 million impressions and 18,427 link clicks, with daily clicks rising sharply after optimisation towards traffic.

One Day Agency planned the video advertising for Raventós Codorníu, using ITV VOD to reach the sparkling wine audience during the Q4 shopping season.
ITV was selected because it indexes highly against that audience, but the budget would not stretch to national coverage without diluting the frequency the whole plan depended on. So we ran ITV in London only, where population density made the impacts work, and covered the rest of the UK with YouTube instead. For the VOD buy itself we blended Program Select with broad age group audiences, balancing direct response relevance against the size of the potential audience.
Brand interest peaked 40% above the previous year, the highest since 2017. Q4 sales rose 35% and Nielsen data showed market share gains while the category fell 11.6% in value and cava fell 5.6%.
