Programmatic Display

Programmatic Display Case Studies

One Day Agency ran display ads for Raventos Codorniu, the 1551-founded Cava producer, as part of an integrated campaign to build awareness and drive supermarket sales in Q4 2022.

Display and YouTube gave us cost-efficient frequency between the higher-impact formats, which mattered because the strategy was built on optimised frequency rather than maximum formats, targeting the same audience over five or more exposures. We profiled the audience as skewing female in the 25 to 45 core age group and used Global Web Index research on media consumption habits to decide where programmatic weight belonged. Display ads then reinforced the message between exposures to ITV VOD, London Underground formats, supermarket screens, roadside large formats and bus stops.

Their International Brand Manager for Europe and Asia reported that while the category fell 11.6% in value and Cava fell 5.6%, the brand grew year on year and gained market share.

Programmatic Advertising for Tonic App

One Day Agency used programmatic advertising for Tonic App, a mobile-first platform where licensed GPs access medical tools and hold secure case discussions.

The brief was app installs at a target CPA, then converting those downloads into active users, and the platform is exclusive to registered doctors who sign up with a registration number. That made precision essential, so our programmatic advertising focused on environments where we could target medical professionals with a high degree of certainty, including the websites, tools and apps GPs use during practice, alongside Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads and Apple Search Ads. We also wrote creative that pre-qualified the audience to doctors only while making the value proposition clear.

Before launch we integrated Google Firebase, Analytics and AppsFlyer across every advertising platform, defining goals, events and conversions with Tonic App's team so prospecting and remarketing could be built against real post-install behaviour.

One Day Agency created the display advertising for Totaljobs, the UK's largest hiring platform, for a B2B lead generation campaign aimed at recruiters.

Recruitment advertising is usually cold and transactional, so we came at it from the opposite direction. Totaljobs does not just hold 20 million CVs, it holds 20 million people, each with their own personality and experience, and the creative was built to show that through warm, natural imagery and eye-catching visuals rather than database claims.

Concept and media plan were developed together rather than one after the other, because the opportunity is to build content that fits each channel contextually and natively. That thinking shaped delivery directly: the Instagram Story ads were rotated almost daily with frequency capping, limiting how often any one user saw them, so the idea cut through instead of wearing out.
