Tram Advertising
Tram Advertising Case Studies
One Day Agency used tram advertising as a high-impact format in Visit Jordan's Kingdom of Time European launch, covering the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Spain and Sweden.
Tram advertising works for destination marketing because a full wrap turns public transport into moving media that cannot be skipped and is seen repeatedly on the same city routes. We ran tram wraps in Manchester, Rome and Milan, choosing cities where tram networks carry high volumes through central retail and commuter districts. The Rome and Milan wraps each delivered estimated impacts of 30 million. In Manchester the tram wrap sat alongside digital malls at the Trafford Centre and Arndale and major digital billboards around Mancunian Junction and Trinity Way, building citywide coverage.
Across all six countries the campaign delivered 359.5 million estimated impressions from 1,597 screens and sites, including 535 added-value sites beyond the original booking.

Tram Advertising for Valla
One Day Agency used tram advertising for Valla, the legal tech platform helping people facing employment issues, as part of an integrated Manchester campaign.
Valla needed to reach working professionals at the moment employment worries are front of mind, which is the commute to and from work. Tram advertising on the Metrolink network gave us a low-clutter, captive environment where the same passengers see the message repeatedly, which matters for a challenger brand building trust in legal services. We ran 147 interior tram panels across Metrolink, supported by 45 bus rears across Manchester, rail 6-sheets and 4-sheets at Manchester Piccadilly with 7.8 million combined impressions, and commuter-time optimised digital 6-sheets.
The campaign ran from 5 May to 8 June 2025 across Greater Manchester and delivered more than 15.2 million estimated OOH impressions, supported by digital media across Meta, YouTube and Spotify.
Colt Technologies wanted to reach business audiences across international markets with its “Connect More” campaign. One Day Agency planned and delivered out-of-home activity across key cities, focusing on busy business districts where professionals work and travel.
Tram wraps and tram shelter advertising formed part of the media mix, bringing Colt’s message onto vehicles and into passenger waiting areas. The combination was designed to build visibility along urban transport routes, reaching commuters as well as people passing through the surrounding streets.
The tram activity was supported by bus stop advertising, large digital screens and building wraps. Together, these formats created a coordinated international presence, using transport advertising to connect the brand with business audiences beyond their desks.
