Supermarket Advertising Case Studies
One Day Agency used supermarket advertising for YouFibre as part of a hyperlocal out-of-home campaign supporting the brand's relaunch as You across 25 UK towns and cities.
Supermarket advertising put the brand in front of households at close range, in the places people in newly connected areas actually visit each week. We selected supermarket screens among the formats placed in immediate proximity to newly connected households, alongside digital 6-sheets, 96-sheets and elevator wraps. No two towns got the same media mix, because each area was planned individually using first-party data, third-party insights and our proprietary planning platform. We also rotated three distinct creative messages per town to maximise local relevance and frequency, managed dynamically across a three-month window.
The campaign ran more than 1,600 sites across seven media owners and delivered over 240 million impressions at a £2.50 average CPM.

Supermarket Advertising for Feather Down Farms
One Day Agency used supermarket advertising for Feather Down Farms to reach ABC1 families while they were already in a spending mindset.
Supermarket advertising works for a glamping brand because the weekly shop is a high-dwell, high-spend environment where family plans get discussed. We placed digital 6-sheets in Waitrose and Tesco stores with strong ABC1 profiles, catching families mid-shop at the point they are most open to thinking about a trip. These sat within a wider plan built around family routines: static 6-sheets near primary schools in affluent areas for the school run, bus rears in Guildford, Oxford and Slough, a 96-sheet at Dudley Zoo timed to the May bank holiday, and Sky VOD in primetime.
The integrated campaigns delivered more than 12.2 million impressions at a £2.74 OOH CPM, with Sky reaching 96,145 households at 2.6x average frequency.
One Day Agency planned the supermarket and retail-proximity advertising for Raventós Codorníu through the Q4 shopping season, after an earlier campaign helped win the brand its first Tesco listing.
The objective was explicitly direct response, not just awareness, so formats were selected for closeness to the shops stocking the wine. We used supermarket screens alongside posters placed in immediate proximity to stores, reaching shoppers at the point of highest purchase intent. The site selection ran through our proprietary planning tool, overlaying census data, Google points-of-interest data for specific retailers, the client's own data and the UK's full OOH database, which is how we picked placements with precision at scale.
The client recorded a 35% increase in Q4 sales and gained market share while the cava category declined 5%, writing to us that this was "good news indeed.”
