PPC Case Studies

One Day Agency ran PPC for Airportr as the demand capture layer of a full-funnel paid media campaign supporting the brand's growth in Germany.

PPC was essential because Airportr's service answers a specific need, and people actively searching for baggage collection or luggage delivery are the closest to booking. We used Google Search to cover brand protection, misspellings, location-based searches and high-intent non-brand queries around baggage collection and luggage transport, so no demand created further up the funnel leaked away. Above it, Meta and TikTok drove discovery and engagement, YouTube added scalable video reach across adults and families, and YouTube Shorts came in during December to increase mobile-first reach through the seasonal travel planning peak.

We ran the campaign across key regional travel catchments including Frankfurt am Main, Mainz, Wiesbaden, Hanau, Darmstadt, Mannheim, Bonn and Cologne. Meta alone delivered 2,404,701 impressions and 5,451 clicks across prospecting and retargeting.

One Day Agency supported Harley Academy's clinic brands, The Academy Clinic and STORY Clinics, with creative built to make PPC and wider paid media work harder.

The brief was to turn medically led credibility into persuasive messaging that drives patient enquiries, with Manchester launching alongside an established London presence. For PPC and remarketing to convert, the creative has to match funnel stage, so we tailored assets by audience and stage: awareness work built trust in the medically led, safety-first positioning, while remarketing creative pushed harder to turn interest into bookings. We developed two routes for testing, AI-generated close-up skin imagery and lifestyle-led UGC content, and produced video variants for both mature and younger audiences across traffic and conversion objectives.

Messaging focused on medically led skincare, experienced clinicians, accessible pricing and treatment tiers, and natural-looking results, giving always-on visibility rather than relying on seasonal peaks.

One Day Agency was challenged by KOI Footwear, the vegan online footwear brand, to find another paid channel that could scale the business beyond Facebook, Instagram, Google Search and Google Shopping.

The answer was Snapchat, which suited a brand built on niche culture and language. It also brought a measurement problem: Snap's data is not visible in Google Analytics because of how the app loads web pages, and KOI is a ROAS-led brand. So we proved it before we built it. We ran a single UK city for a month against a control city, then the whole UK for another month, measuring daily uplifts in sales and revenue cross-channel.

Only once we were confident the channel would clear 3.5 ROAS did we build out properly. Across Q3 and Q4, Snapchat became the brand's key performing channel, contributing over 25% of total revenue and beating the ROAS target by more than 40%.

PPC Advertising for Verifone

One Day Agency took on PPC for Verifone, the electronic payment technology business, to generate leads for their all-in-one portable card machine and reduce cost per lead.

Wastage was the core issue. The product suits a very specific buyer, but the existing activity grouped very different buyers together, so spend was going to people who would never convert. We worked with the client to define separate buyer personas, recognising from those conversations that each buyer has distinct pain points and would respond to different KPIs. We then rebuilt targeting around them in a structure that allowed genuine test and learn rather than one blended audience.

We moved to the new structure gradually rather than at once, to avoid pushing the account back into the learning phase. Cost per lead declined from onboarding in November, with their Marketing Manager saying they knew from the pitch that One Day would "drive the right trajectory.”

One Day Agency ran the PPC for Raventós Codorníu, the 1551-founded Spanish Cava producer, as the demand capture layer of a Q4 shopping season campaign.

YouTube and display had a specific job in the plan: balance budget against population density. Because ITV VOD was affordable only in London without diluting frequency, we ran YouTube across the rest of the UK to counterbalance it, rather than spreading both thinly everywhere. Targeting mixed highly relevant audiences, including customers of specific supermarkets through third-party data, with broader interest audiences to protect reach against a limited budget.

Brand interest peaked 40% higher than the previous year, a level not seen since 2017. The client recorded a 35% increase in Q4 sales and gained market share while the cava category shrank 5%, writing to us that this was "good news indeed".
