Bus Shelter
Bus Shelter Advertising Case Studies
One Day Agency used bus shelter advertising for Raventos Codorniu, the oldest producer of Spanish Cava, to drive awareness and supermarket sales through the Q4 2022 shopping season.
Bus shelter advertising gave us eye-level presence on the street at low cost, which was important for a plan built on frequency rather than a few premium sites. We selected bus stop placements in close proximity to supermarkets specifically for direct response, so the brand was seen shortly before the moment of purchase. Placements were chosen using our proprietary planning tool, overlaying census data, Google API points of interest including Tesco locations, the client's own data and the UK's full OOH database, letting us pick sites with precision at scale.
Bus shelters worked alongside ITV VOD, London Underground formats, supermarket screens, roadside large formats, YouTube, display and a full bus wrap. The brand grew year on year while the Cava category fell 5.6%.

Bus Shelter Advertising for Colt Technologies
One Day Agency used bus shelter advertising for Colt Technologies as part of an international out-of-home campaign reaching B2B audiences across more than ten countries.
Colt provides digital infrastructure to businesses, so the audience is concentrated in city business districts, and bus shelter advertising places a brand at eye level on the pavements those professionals walk daily. We ran bus stops and tram shelters alongside tram wraps, large digital formats and building wraps across key capitals, concentrating placements in busy business districts rather than spreading across whole cities.
The campaign covered Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, the Netherlands and the UK, using a mix of paper, digital and large formats. Planning across this many markets meant coordinating different media owners, formats and lead times while holding one consistent B2B message across every city.
One Day Agency used bus shelters across London for Ambl, the reservation booking app built to bring spontaneity back to eating out.
Bus shelters were placed by context rather than traffic volume. We concentrated them in London's restaurant and bar hotspots, so the app appeared where people were already deciding where to eat or drink next, with phone boxes and posters alongside them in the same streets. That eye-level layer sat underneath billboards and large formats, which carried the launch at scale.
The campaign ran in two phases. The pre-launch used full motion video on socialite screens inside pubs and bars to spark conversation in the moment, and the full launch extended into bus stops, Underground stations and large formats, rounded out with paid social on Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat.
