BathroomsByDesign is not new to digital marketing and had mixed results in the past with paid social (social media) online advertising. After a competitive pitch, we were selected because of our unique proposition to connect the dots: advertising creativity meets technical execution & solution in a unified approach.
The objective was straightforward: generate leads for an online consultation. And the solution was equally creative and elegant.
By leveraging highly engaging motion graphics with a simple-to-follow story, we suggested the consumer directly engage with a Messenger CTA (call-to-action available on ad button) and send BathroomsByDesign's team a picture or video of their bathrooms so they provide feedback on potential improvements. This simple approach lowered all barriers by not asking for any contact details at first or asking the consumer to leave the Facebook experience into a landing page.
Results
This simple but risky concept in a lead generation perspective (first-party data collection as the main goal) resulted in the most engaging and best ROI performing campaign for the brand. Consumers felt drawn to the dialogue and not only sent hundreds of photos and videos but also many of them engaged in commentary during video recordings. This unique insight and perspective of consumers’ current bathrooms affairs empowered the sales team to provide tailored solutions and ultimately contribute to a sale.
