Press Release: One Day Agency launches Codorníu Cavas from the largest organic cava producer in the world.

The Manchester-based advertising and marketing agency has been appointed in a competitive pitch to promote the Spanish Codorníu Raventos’s Winery and its 150th anniversary of Cava production.

Founded in 1551 near Barcelona, Codorníu Raventos is the oldest producer of the Spanish traditional sparkling wine, Cava, and one of the oldest wineries in the world. Celebrating their 150th anniversary of Cava wines, the brand engaged with One Day to plan and deliver an out-of-home campaign across London and key UK cities to raise awareness and drive sales to their retail partners Waitrose, Majestic, Ocado, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and One Stop. The multi-week campaign will be live from the 4th of April covering the London Underground, key retail locations and arterial commute routes using video and image adverts across tube car panels, large digital formats, D6s and others.

Elliot Ward, One Day’s OOH lead, said: “It’s a privilege to work with such a historic international wine brand as Codorníu on this exciting out-of-home nationwide campaign. Through our national and regional partners, we’ve planned an outstanding highly-targeted coverage with a focus on high-frequency eye-level media for DR and large digital formats for brand uplift, plus more in record time. We look forward to sharing some results!”

Jose Angel Osuna, Europe Trade Marketing Manager, said “We are delighted to be working with One Day Agency. We hope that this outdoor campaign will allow us to extend the boundaries of the Codorníu brand as well as benefit our retail partners. The UK is a very competitive market, so we are grateful to have a local agency like One Day Agency with whom we can develop the Codorniu brand as we have done in other countries to become leaders in the sparkling wine sector.”
